Change of Guard at AIMA

  Date: 12 October, 2006

Sudhir Jalan stepped down from the post of president, All India Management Association (AIMA), at the organisation's annual festival on 7th October at the end of his one-year tenure. The torch has been passed on to Subir Raha, former chairman of India's most profitable company, ONGC.

Jalan must be given credit for shedding AIMA's 'fuddy-duddy image', to use his own words by breathing fresh life into the erstwhile sleepy organisation.

Kewal Handa, managing director, Pfizer and Srinivasan K Swamy, chief executive officer, RK Swamy BBDO have taken on the posts of senior VP and VP, respectively.
