What do Gayatri Iyer and Sona Mahapatra have in common, besides being well known female singers? Both these divas are also MBAs, and they are set to perform at the first-ever \'CAT Concert\' in Mumbai on Sunday, 19 November 2006. On the same day, CAT Concerts will also be held in Pune, Chennai and Bangalore. The musical extravaganza is being organised by JAM magazine in association with leading youth brands such as IMS and Airtel.
So if you have worked hard for the CAT, and want to let the steam off, the CAT Concert is the occasion to let your hair down. Says IIM Ahmedabad graduate Gaurav Dagaonkar, who made news by opting out of placement to pursue a career in music, and is one of the performers in this event: "The concert is a perfect way to chill out after giving the world\'s toughest exam!" Besides CAT aspirants, the concert is open to existing MBA students and other music lovers. The icing on the cake: the entry is absolutely FREE!
Invites to the \'JAM CAT Concert\' can be collected at road shows, which will be held two days prior to the event. Also, visitors at Café Coffee Day outlets in Pune, Bangalore and Chennai can get VIP invites with every cup of coffee. Invites can also be won through a contest on Radio Mirchi and online on www.jammag.com .
